Pool light not working. not typical.

so it seems that the socket is riveted to a plate behind the socket. you can make out the rivets in the pic. there seem to be 4 rivets. If i pop them off, is there an easy way to mount a new one back in provided i can get one at a lighting store?

Pool light not working. not typical.

I'll take another look at the socket tomorrow but i don't know how easy it will be to replace because the bottom is full of the epoxy or whatever waterproofing material is used. I think i may be able just remove the socket part as you suggested. Do you know if the big box home improvement...

Pool light not working. not typical.

update... I tested with some alligator clips at the transformer...bulb lit test at the junction box where the niche connects...bulb lit tested again in the fixture...nothing So obviously it is the actual fixture or the wiring to the fixture. I am not an expert but i did connect my multimeter...

    Price to replace light fixture?...

Of course that is only talking about labor. $400 surely wouldn't cover labor and materials. They are expensive little things!

Re: Piping question. Additional line on suction side of pum It is too dark to take a pic right now but of the three parts: the eyeball, the collar, and the threaded insert...it is the threaded insert that is broken. In fact, the eyeball and collar are not even there because the part is...

Piping question. Additional line on suction side of pump

Re: Piping question. Additional line on suction side of pum So i took another look around and there is a non-covered and non-threaded opening in the side of the pool. I think it can safely be confirmed that it is for a suction side cleaner. A bit of the housing has been broken off and i...
