The pool finally filled early this morning. My first brushing was with the sunrise. How very calm and relaxing. How long until I'm sick of brushing though? I assume it's safe to go in the pool to to brush areas I couldn't reach from the perimeter or is it better to wait until the pool is...

That's looking really nice. Can't wait to see it full and then balanced.

Thanks for the nice comments all. allinspector - Yes after talking with the PB guy handling the start up the float and the filtration tank (filtering out metals +) are restricting it somewhat but they are fine with the slower fill and slower introduction of chemicals. It's over the returns now...

Hello from an excited Newbie in Bixby Oklahoma!!

I've been following along as well and wanted to chime in time after time but never could break into the story line...it's been such a fast moving soap opera like plot. Good luck with the plaster. Looks like a good crew to carry you over the finish line.

From 1PM Eastern yesterday still hasn't reached the first step. This is going to take forever. We need to talk to the PB about dropping in a second hose. The one in the pool now has a filtration tank on it (doing I don't know what).

I believe that first picture is an ancient cave painting of a bison being hunted with spears. You can't plaster over that. Though if you do it won't be a problem. We had an extra unused return hole filled in with plaster.

I'll take some in the morning. Not much to see yet. It's been filling for almost 11 hours and the bottom still isn't covered. We can sleep soundly tonight without having to worry about the water level.

You really do seem to have a handle on things. That's the good news I suppose of your trail by fire start up. You're becoming an expert quickly.

I bought one and opened up the box this past weekend. I'm going to do a test run in my neighbors pool later this week as partial payback for putting up with our dirt and dust over the past 2 months. I'll let you know my thoughts after we try it out. For our pool the instructions we saw were 30...

Pool Design Help - Treasure Coast, FL

We shall see, thanks. They're using a filtration tank and only provided one so only one hose filling the pool for 21K+ gallons. It's going to take a while. Question for you. You mentioned excess plaster in your corners when they finished. Ours is the same with underexposed corners. How did your...

Thanks Twinkies. Going through your build and your attention to detail I think we'll use you to write up our punch list.

Everything seems to be going well. Working fast. Seeing all those guys in the pool I wish we would have gone with a bigger size already :).

Plaster day! They were here before 8 and are cleaning & setting up. I did confirm they have the right finish "triple blue gem" (thanks for the reminder Kim). A few showers passed through last night but a sunny day currently with a 20% chance of rain which for Florida in summer very low; go away...
