    Finished Stenner

The spout definitely reduces spills, so if you are having to be careful it speeds things up. Empty 2.5 gal jug in less than a minute, maybe faster. Just got it so working on technique. Those jugs seem to have a dead spot where chlorine pools, so I have twist it around at the end several times...

    Finished Stenner

I have Wemo in house also, but at your suggestion went with Wion outdoors. Works very well. I am looking at IDevices outdoor outlet compatible with Apple Homekit. Marketed by Amazon, so Alexa friendly. A bit more expensive, but if it gives notifications and is more versatile I may be...

    Finished Stenner

Stenner up and running. I went with 45MPHP22 pump w/ Wion timer and 15 gal tank. Injecting 45 min. (~3/4 gal) in the evening. I tapped into 1-1/2” pvc with 1/4” nylon nipple and bushing to get back to 1/2” pvc valve. I also have LED puck light attached so I can keep an eye on timer from...

    Algae or DE?

Sounds like DE, but surprised water didn't get cloudy. Did you replace or see any holes in grids or check for cracks in grid manifold?

    Algae or DE?

Did your water get murky after cleaning filter? I've only had DE get back to pool once, but the water was like a cloud when that happened.

Snap & Glue PVC saddle tee for stenner injetion port

Has anyone used one of these on 1-1/2" or 2" pipe? I have used them successfully on higher pressure, although smaller OD 1/2" & 3/4" pipe. I am leaning toward drill and tap, but considering this as back up. No flex in piping to install full slip on tee.

    Stenner Decisions

First Post Greetings everyone! I am looking into installing Stenner pump for liquid chlorine. Couple of questions. Reading through old posts, seems like the trend is toward fixed rate Stenner pumps on timer to reduce injection time and wear and tear on pump. Most popular pumps seem to be 3...

    Greetings from Houston!

I have been taking care of my pool for several years, so no problem there. Been visiting this site off and on to get new ideas and research equipment. Decided to make it official and gain more access and interaction.
