If you are getting rid of the little shelf and just do steps wider would look like this, and maybe 2 globrites or 2 led lights on the side 1 in the spa. My globrites are around 7-8' apart each, I can measure exactly. How bright do you want it to be at night? Mine might be a bit bright lol.
