    The capacitor was the problem. I ordered the centrifugal switch anyway in case and I'll be putting that on tomorrow when it arrives but it's working perfectly now. Thank you all for the help! You guys saved me a lot of money haha

    I just realized I was looking at the wrong thing. The contacts on the actual switch are burnt. I'll try to clean it off. If it doesn't work I'll just get a new switch. I'll keep you guys updated

    Done. A little update. There was another breaker that I was unaware of that was tripped. The motor still hums and tries to turn over. Here's a quick video I just took of it: 00001 - YouTube I assume the verdict is still the same?
