Sealing Pool Coping Ruined Waterline Tile

It looks like the protective nature of the sealer that ran down the waterline tile works well and the uncoated portion of the waterline tile gets slightly darker when wet from rain. Maybe make him put the sealer over all the waterline tiles so it’s not just the drip pattern it will protect the...

Pool company insists my vs pump needs to be set no lower than 2900 to allow the pentair heater to work.

So I’m sick of keeping up pool company’s suggestion which run's the pump so high and the water looking like a wave pool. I’m going to reprogram my pump to satisfy the swg for 12 hrs then run it slow at night and 2 hrs fast for skimming in the morning. So if I set the 3 program buttons starting...

    Concrete Overlay vs SunDek

We have a typical brushed concrete in south jersey, I’m looking to possibly do a “sundeck” material type overlay that’s stamped. Do you have any installer recommendations?

Pool company insists my vs pump needs to be set no lower than 2900 to allow the pentair heater to work.

Ok, so I can’t see how this can make sense. My pool heater is only 2 years old, still under warrantee. This season each time I put the heater on it would ignite but then after 10 minutes or so the service heater light would go on, igniter off but unit frozen only way to turn off the unit was to...

Pool Possibly Dug in the wrong position in yard - now what?

I think this is a good solution, place the hot tub on the opposite side. I wouldn’t want to chance settling and it’s nice to have the hot tub on the opposite side of the pool so it’s not in the traffic pattern to enter the pool.

Exposed Metal/Rebar(maybe) Above Skimmer Causing Rust and Plaster Stains

Could the exposed metal that was left prior to coping possibly be the grounding wire?

Need quick advice - purchase a home with erosion around pool?

Check to see if they got building permits at the towns construction office. There should be poured concrete footings. The town should have a copy of the plans and they should have inspected the footings prior to them building the deck so it should all be recorded. Now I’d have the home inspector...

    Newly plastered pool issues

It’s calcium crystals. I’ve been dealing with it my last 2 openings after my first plaster. It’s one of those things that no one really knows why it occurs but seems to have during winter closing. Either it’s due to low csi or poor plaster application where they mixed additives to help plaster...

I think I have Calcium Crystals not scale after opening new pool

so I was extremely careful with my csi after I realized it could be the culprit for the calcium Chrystal’s I had last year and hoped they wouldn’t reappear…. I opened early May and unfortunately they were back. I’ve been brush to see if they will come off naturally and they are coming off easier...

Does French Gray Quartzscapes actually look gray or blue?

Standard Quartzscapes it’s very nice. For a standard plaster color it’s perfect, we didn’t want to spend thousands on an upgrade.

    Green crystal type scale

Read this, looks like you have a version of the longer calcium crystals. https://blog.orendatech.com/calcium-crystals I had the granular version that’s hard to remove and removed mine with an ice scraper. The longer version they say is easier to get rid of. I think it has to do with...
