    Trouble finding AGP parts

Thanks for the reply. I did try contacting Wilbar and they were no help at all, no parts available. It seems I am pretty well out of luck. Wish the store I was buying from would told me I was buying a pool I would never be able to find parts for. eeerrrgh! Will check ebay too.

    Trouble finding AGP parts

Wondering if anyone out there has suggestions. I have been trying all summer to get answers from my original pool dealer about replacement parts with no luck. Very frustrating! Winter was pretty hard on things with the record snowfall we had and I need to replace a couple of top rails and...

    Easiest way to maintain pool

We haven't been pool owners for very long, but with BBB, no problems and it's easy! I do all my own tests, no time wasted running to the pool store with water samples. Run tests for FC, add some liquid bleach when required, vacuum some leaves once and a while and we have crystal clear water...

Handy leveling tool for building a AGP

I had a lot of ups and downs this summer building our first AGP. One thing that was well worth the money I spent was a water level. Some prefer a laser, but that wasn't in my budget and things were drawn out too long to rent one. I could have bougth 3 of them for what the rental store wanted...

    Finally up and running!

Thanks for the reply Carlos. I will grab a little more CYA and bump it up to 30-40.. The water seems pretty clear, but I would not say it "sparkles ". Maybe I am just being too picky?

    Finally up and running!

We finally have our pool up an running. I will spare everyone the gory details, but here is a summary, looooong ground prep, walls up, connectors plates on wrong, wall off, wind, pool together, thunderstorms with high winds, wall collapsed, wall back up, liner in, water guy (who also installs...

    under construction, first pics

Happy 4th everyone! It's been a long time since posting last, but we are finally started with the pool. Had some excavating work done to get things going. Have the area rough in and have my ring of crushed limestone in and packed one time. I have a questions for those that have used this...

Getting ready for installation, could use some feedback

yup, I was planning on a sand bottom over the ring of crusher and of course in the middle of the pool where it will just be excavated ground. I wouldn't go to this much trouble except for I have seen how much our ground can heave in the winter. It's like a big sponge when it sees water. I...

Getting ready for installation, could use some feedback

Thanks for those tips! Do you think the 5" is enough depth for the crusher run? I hope I am not getting in too deep, so to speak, doing this myself. I have read a lot so far and the more help from this site the better. Thanks again!

Getting ready for installation, could use some feedback

Hello All, I am convinced that summer will come to Michigan sometime in 2010, so I am gearing up to install the 24' round AGP that has been taking up room in our garage for a month or so. First things first, here is what I plan to do for site prep. We have very heavy clay soil and are of...

New AGP constuction and clay soil.

Hey Tim, Yeah, the thing that concerns me is the frost heave once the waterlogged clay freezes. I know what you mean about taking forever to dry out the clay. I am waiting for that right now so I can get started on leveling. I am mostly just worried about the bottom rails and verticals...
