Help! Chlorine Stabilizer levels continue to fall

Thank you! I will do all this tonight. I swear when I read the slam process I followed the chart to a T. Based on a salt water pool and the amount of stabilizer in the pool, it said I needed at least a chlorine level of 20-25 so I got it up to 30. I must be wrong, so will check when I get...

Help! Chlorine Stabilizer levels continue to fall

Hello, Taylor K 2006C is not a proper test kit? I got that recommendation from this site I believe when I bought the pool. I do have a salt test and it reconciles accurately with my Aquaplus salt sensor. 3400 right now.

Help! Chlorine Stabilizer levels continue to fall

Hello, I installed a pool last year and had no issues with the balancing of the water. Saltwater chlorinator ran at 35% and water stayed clear. I opened the pool this year early before any algae grew, ran the super chlorinate function for a few days, tested my water and balanced it and had...

Really cool Wes. I finally got back in here and checked in on your progress. Love the combination of wood decking and that pool color/stonework. Thrown any rager's yet?!

Thanks Avenger. Hey, for your equipment pad, what type of wood did they use to cover that? Is it composite? Looks great and am figuring out what I'm going to do with mine.

    New Fiberglass Pool - Iowa

Well hey guys, hadn't posted in a while so thought I'd get a few pictures up after the landscapers finished up inside the pool. Still a lot of work to do to repair the yard outside. Pool equipment is all working great. I can now start the salt process since the construction has finished...

    New Fiberglass Pool - Iowa

Hey Texas, thank you. I don’t have a test kit, just the strips. That’s what the pool store in town recommended. I read through your link, that was great. Very thorough. I got rid of the algae and have all my equipment running. I’ve been just dumping liquid chlorine in to keep it up...

    New Fiberglass Pool - Iowa

Thanks Circa! It was, their install team knocked it out in a few days. Rain delayed a week, but the next week the concrete guys did the bond beam and plumber/electrician finished out their jobs. Now the landscapers can finish the decking/patio and then my fence guy can close out the fence. 2...

    New Fiberglass Pool - Iowa

Hey avenger, noticed my reply didn’t go through. That is a sweet setup. Chicago is my favorite city, can’t imagine a pool install in those tight corridors. I like the finished wood covering up the equipment, I’m hoping to do something like that. Also want to do wood like that to cover up the...

    New Fiberglass Pool - Iowa

After a brief pause in the action, they are back and running. Bond beam was installed last week. Landscapers arrive today and will complete the bond beam. My electrician has everything wired up, except he’s missing a 20 amp breaker and can’t find it anywhere....supply chain is stretched to...

I just read through your thread, really cool. Good looking pool/landscaping. I can tell a lot of thought was put into it. Like how you covered the equipment. I'm going to build a fence and stain to match the deck. I have to modify my deck fence to satisfy the barrier rules so will stain...
