Zodiac Duo Clear 130 Salt System ----> ClearBlue Ionizer

I understand .... i expect chlorine levels will need to be at least in the 1.5-2.0ppm. And yes i am in a situation where i have low use, a cooler climate and a high turnover in the water every year so minerals are somewhat flushed. Locally zodiac seems to have disappeared from the market and...

    Zodiac Nature 2 mineral cartridge

You can't really reuse them .... once the salt water gets to them u have one season's use, then they start to deteriorate. That's when you will get particles in the pool. I opened a few ..... mostly to get the top 2 inches of plastic cut off to use as a "blank" to put it back in place, and run...

Zodiac Duo Clear 130 Salt System ----> ClearBlue Ionizer

I am interested to hear if anyone is running a ClearBlue Ionizer System ..... my Zodiac (~12 years old) is on its last legs (leaks) and given that i'm on my 3ird pump and 3ird pool heater in those 12 years I'm making a move to the ClearBlue. I have loved the SWG Zodiac but since my Pump and...

what test kit should I buy

I use the Talyor K2005, easy to use. Seems accurate as compared to what my pool shop results are. They use Taylor regents as well, although I didn't buy it from them and they mark up the regents brutally .... so I buy direct, when replenishing. Maybe, choose your kit based on ease/cost of...

Salt levels ...... using SALT-3000 meter

Yes, its probably the easiest of all to maintain. Maybe my kids and their friends (6-8 boys sometimes) splash out too much. Caught them one year using various floating lounges etc trying to imitate a tsunami .....lol. I usually need to add 2-4 large bags per summer to maintain. My CL generator...

Salt levels ...... using SALT-3000 meter

Hi, Decided to bite on one of these (search on ebay for salt-3000) ..... seems to work OK, but I haven't confirmed readings yet with strips and my pool shops measurements. The strips cost $1.15 per test now locally tho results seem close (+/- 300ppm?, if fresh) compared with my shops results...

Is "Salt One" specific stabilizer worth it?

Re: Is lol .... the quote of the week. Yes, I got several sample packs with my pool install 4 or so years ago. And for the life of me couldn't determine the ingredients ... even after visiting their website. Added them then, but never have since. KC

    Which SWG to get?

I received a letter after our pool install 4 years ago that our Zodiac Duo Clear Salt system cell was not to be powered on, if the pump was off. So the pump and cell are on the same power line .... both either off or on. I believe the cell needs a certain amount of flow through it to cool it...

    PAR56 pool lights ....

Hi Forum, Every year i seem to burn out one or two of these ..... are their drop in replacement LED bulbs for these very common, Halogen 12V, two screw lamps. I think my pool store charges ~$30 for one standard halogen PAR56???? I see a lot of those electronic multi-color LED PAR56 bulbs but...

    Zodiac LM3-40 Salt Water Chlorinator

As you can see in my signature i have the Zodiac Duo Clear 130 .... this is my third summer. Balancing has been a breeze in spite of the fact this is my first pool. I noticed after the first 1.5 seasons it was running hot to the touch ... a tech came over and found a screw was too long and...
