Ok, I've tested and my little kit only goes up to 5.0 ppm FC, and I got a reading that could be higher than 5.0 as it is somewhat darker than the 5.0 on the test. The PH was exactly 6.8. Pool Supply World carries the TF-100 for the West Coast. I got that from moderator Jason earlier (in his...

That test kit is really bad. I bought it to make sure the pool service was putting chlorine in at all. I think it only goes to 5ppm for FC. It was that $17 home depot one. I'm looking to see if I can get a TF-100 locally. (None on Craig's list--lol) When I manage to get usable results...
