How do I set cell type?? I checked several times and it is plugged in.

thanks for the help. I thought my shock level for black algae was the same as mustard so I bumped my FC to 18 which is what it is this morning from last night. thought my PH was high so dropped in small amount of acid and PH now at 7.5. I know my CYA is to low but waiting until finished shocking...

I have been fighting black algae for 10 days now. Let my FC slip at times so almost starting over again. I have also been running my SWG for 24/7 for the past 10 days as well so fighting the PH levels cause they keep rising. The pool calculator does not indicate the shock level for black algae...

Oh one more thing. I am running my polaris while all this is going on, is that ok. Also I have been running the pump 24/7 for the past week or so until all the algae is gone. is that also correct thing to do?
