Yes, pool is closed in with cage. Hardly anything gets in the water.

Looks like the previous owner had a larger unit on here previously, it has a small extension between the generator and the main pipe.. Looks like it will fit.

I just opened my pool today and got the filter going and it's reading 40psi when off and 50psi when on. Used to read around 10 or so when running.. The water is circulating. Great and the return is pumping really strong. The filter is a Hayward perplex ec40. Any idea what it can be?? Thanks...
