Our backyard is small (28x55) so we opted for the biggest pool we could with some space left for sitting area and pool equipment. Pool is 13x28 with 6x13 baja shelf. Take a look at the pictures.

looking at the finished product, you wouldn't know that a small CAT did all the digging in about 1.5 days work. the process was fun for the kids, now even more fun as they can swim anytime.

Anything is possible... with a price, of course. Our access is less than 5' but the pro here moved the CAT to the backyard with ease. The real pro was the one driving (i mean driving, not moving) the buggys through that narrow access in multiple trips, taking the dirt to the dumpsters in front...
