Thanks so much Maddie, I actually put in two bottles of Bleach which at an effective chlorine of 7.13 which totaled 160oz. So I maybe have overdone it a bit? So until I get my test kit in the mail, should I put this amount in every day??

Well good news, I added the bleach last night and this morning I woke up to a very nice looking blue pool. Also it seems the bleach is removing the stains!

thanks for that suggestion i'll get some acid to lower it tomorrow. I just need a detailed explanation on what i'm doing with this app and bleach. Is this amount the app determined a daily amount i add every day? or is this the total to bring it up to the target?

OK is this under the Bleach Calculator? Using the calculator it came up with a 17,350 gallon pool. So how much bleach per day is 5ppm? I can't find that screen in the app.
