You've been a great help, and I truly do appreciate it! Do you know where I can buy the individual parts? The gasket, spring and o ring? All my searches turn up the entire valve.

Do you think it'd be less expensive to buy a whole new valve ?

1 1/2 inch on the pvc. The spring is definitely shot. There's no tension at all. I figured I'd replace the gasket while it was open. Is that something I shouldn't do? I really dont know. Thank you, everyone.

Hello! Bought a house with an inground pool. It has a sand filter. I want to replace gaskets and the spring inside the valve. I'm new to pools (I don't even like to swim.) Anybody able to help me find what valve this is? There's no serial number anywhere on it. Just a label number. Thank you...
