How long have you had the cleaner? What did you have before? I have a Pentair racer now and thinking of going the Polaris route... either the p280 which seems to be recommended a bunch. But these seem like they would do a great job.

What cleaner do you recommend? I am just over my 3 years and am wondering what is next. My cleaner had to be repaired 3 times under warranty and only running it 2 hours a day.

It has been pretty bad, have had 3-4 of them replaced under warranty by pentair. They don't typically fail outright but tend to lose a color which is annoying. I have a feeling I will be looking for some more long lived lights at some point. I also stopped letting my pool cycle through colors...

How many lights are you planning to have? Make sure they are positioned so they shine away from house and seating area. Do you have only 1 skimmer? I would definitely want two - just works better to keep pool clean. Other than that hard to tell much from the pics at this point. Make sure...

Robertson does stub plumbing only before gunite. They will come back after it is sprayed and do the plumbing to the pad. Good luck with your build.

Thanks for all the posts as it will help others I am sure. I don't know the easy touch all that well nor do I have the black and decker but do agree - you can use 3 relays to trigger 3 speed selections via the pump automation. You could also just use 1 and then use the timers in the pumps...

I built a pool with a diving board. Yes there are dangers - but everything in life has dangers. Diving boards are a lot of fun and can't imagine a pool without one.

The jig depth is set by how far the board needs to overhang the water to meet the safety requirements of the dive envelope. I don't think you can just move it back to make room for something. If that makes the end of the board not overhang enough - you won't pass an inspection and will not...

I had to email Pentair to get a table with lumens for their fixtures. They may have it on their website now - but if you can't find them email the vendors and ask for it. For Pentair - the color microbrites are 500 lumens.
