    Green, but is it algae?

I had an algae attack last summer. TFP proved quite helpful and I got rid of it in 3-4 days. But now, I have some green. Been there a week. It is not acting like it did last year. I have the recommended test kit. And my numbers are written down at home (and I will post back when I get home...

Intex return holes in liner is too big?

+1 for this. I had no problems with the small difference. The gaskets seal just fine.

Excellent idea! What do you have for the inside portion of the pool?

    What size fitting?

Thanks PridgNYC. I may just have to order me one those. Looks perfect for the job. Can I assume there are female threads on the left end (according to the amazon picture)?

    Take down or leave up?

I would like to leave mine up. But a couple things are still nagging at me about this. I need re-level some areas, reset some legs. Intex recommends that anywhere that will experience below freezing temps to NOT leave their PVC pool up...

    The trouble with test strips

I know, and understand, the benefits of a proper test kit, from reading the forum. And I have a TF100 on the way. But up until now, I've only had the 6-way test strips. It seems to be okay with respect to seeing chlorine go up and down. But the CyA is crazy. If I were to go by the chart on...

A couple of questions about Intex pools

I use the 'A' paper filters. I use a hose with spray nozzle and get them pretty clean. I use 2 sets, swap out right away, then hose the dirty ones before they dry out, then put them away. I swap out every 2-3 days. My pool stays pretty clear with the paper filters. But then, I'm running 2...
