The stain was a yellow color before. What should I do now? Any suggestions?

Not sure if I am posting this is the right spot. I tried used absorbic acid for a stain in my deep end. I left the sock on it for about an hour and now the plater is discolored a dark gray color. Did I take the plaster off the bottom of the pool? :( Any advice on what to do?

It spouting from the lid like a fountain. I doubled up on the o ring and removed the canister that holds the chlorine tablets because it felt like it was preventing the top from catching the threads. It is working as of right now.

Is this ok to use in the pool? My mom bought it online and was so excited because bleach has been hard to come by around here since COVID started. I just don't know if I can use this in the pool. Any input is much appreciated!

It doesn't move once it's screwed on, but I have seen water come through the seam between the clear plastic part when I turn the pump off.

Thank you so much! The pool is 5 years old. The only water I see by the equipment pad is on the pump basket itself. The clear plastic window seems to rotate and sometimes allows water and air into the system.
