How has the iChlor worked out for you this summer? I didn't realize this existed - I went to a pool supply shop to ask about the Hayward and they basically said stay away and get the iChlor, it's cheaper and better (and a better warranty).

I will look into the Hayward, thanks! Some updates on my pool: 1) it took me longer than it should have to realize why my chlorine was going away so fast - with all the draining my CYA was too low now! I put in 32oz of CYA and let my pool circulate for over 24 hours and it's holding chlorine...

I am not sure how much a truck of water would be, but the well was the easiest (and probably cheapest) option I think. I did wrap the refill up yesterday after replacing roughly 36 inches of water. I did tests just now and everything is looking pretty good! I am satisfied with this process...
