Turns out, nothing. They won't do anything. At the very least, I thought they may want to determine what would cause their product to nearly burn a customer's house down. Apparently not.

It seems we should be considering what caused the heat/fire/melting to begin with. If I reconnect the IC40, won't it possibly happen again? Or are you saying that the "surge card" may have been the problem?

This worked - thanks! At least now I can manually chlorinate and still circulate while awaiting Pentair or my own replacements.

The pump data cable connects to the bottom of the SCG circuit board in my last picture.

My guess would be one of the other two connections to the SCG circuit board, but I can go trace it if needed.

Sure thing - the last one is a closeup of the PCB that the IC40 connects to.

Came out to do some maintenance today and noticed my EasyTouch panel covered in black soot. Upon closer inspection, it seems the wiring from the panel to the IC40 had caught fire/melted. I was able to find one other thread on this forum where the same thing occurred. In talks with Pentair...
