I think you're missing the point. The liner holds the water in. It's been working a long time. Recently it started leaking around the pipe. I'm asking what I can use to repair/patch/fix it.

The leak is new, the liner has been there for 3 years'ish now without problem.

I have a small waterfall basin that holds about 400 gallons of water which has a vinyl liner. A 3" PVC pipe comes up through the bottom of that basin to feed water into the basin. My water level in the basin drops and dye tests shows that the leak is right where the liner meets up with the PVC...

Ah gotcha. That's not a ton of acid. I'm used to dosing 2 gallons a week overall, so big difference, lol.

Personal point of view, but I'm not sure I like the idea of running the stenner pump for only 1 minute every day. That means you're probably trying to dose a LOT of acid in a very small window of time. I think it'd be preferable to run the stenner pump over the course of several hours which...

Another bug to report, CSI is incorrectly calculated if pH is over 9.0. I noticed that this winter when my pH went up to 9.1.
