Hi Rich, Not comfortable posting pics yet as I am in some dilemma & am trying to plan a course of action. There are 3 issues, main one, I’m told no matter what the pool needs to be removed as it’s on disturbed soil. Town already told me I cannot get a CO. Lastly, no patio can be installed there...

This is a dry well Installed specifically for the in-ground pool. The pool is a concrete, vinyl lined pool. It is 15’x30’. They installed the dry well 37 inches from the entrance to the shallow end.

We recently had a cement/vinyl lined in-ground pool installed here in Long Island, NY. We were ready to plan our design for the coping, patio, retaining walls & steps to the pool as the company said it was essential to install the pool at the highest point of the yard causing it to look absurd...

Does anyone know the usual distance recommended from a dry well to an in ground pool? I am on LI in NY & am having trouble locating, thx!
