What‘s a unit here governor and where is it located? And apologies - looks like I put this in the wrong forum, can one of the mods please move it?

I started with a SWG pool. Aside from needing to add Ph Down on a weekly basis, it’s pretty maintenance free and by mid-July (I’m in the Northeast), the pool becomes really stable. The salt cells do need to be replaced every 3 years or so depending on use and chemistry of your water.

Posting this for someone who might find themselves in the same situation... I’ve had my pool for about 8 years now and have been troubleshooting a lot of my problems myself this year, starting with replacing the salt cell, to replacing the Hayward Aquarite Goldline main board and most recently...
