That is something i might have to do. Every 2-3 hours, the flow would stop and i would have to reprime.

Right now the pump is working fine, there is suction in the skimmers, jets are working (some lower speed). The only current issue if have is that the jets would stop running after a few hours.

Some of the CYA i put on the socks near the jet dropped in the pool, do i need to replace them? I also have 2 sock fulls of CYA in the skimmer baskets.

Ok i backwashed, added the skimmer powder last night. Everything was going smoothly, checked this morning and noticed that the psi is 0 and there is no flow in the pump basket. Do i have to constantly reprime every few hours or something? FC was 12 last night. CYA was still 0 last night.

Im still having issues with the returns. They would stop working after a few hours and then i would have to turn off the pump and reprime. The psi is around 17-20 when the returns stop working.

How much bleach are we talking? Will i be checking the readings every hour or just pouring bleach every hour?

Ok thanks for the great responses. Fixed the issue with the pump and got everything running. I have added the CYA into the socks, put muriatic acid in the pool, and added about 3 gallons of chlorine to start. Going to keep everyone updated as i go along. Also the bleach i poured in killed...
