    SWG reads "Cold" in Summer

    You don't need to plug it. Put the cell on its end in a bucket and only fill the bucket until half the cell is submerged. Acid clean that end and then turn the cell over to clean the other end. Don't worry about the cord, it's water tight.

    I don't know what type of pool you have, but vinyl liner could be mold underneath. Plaster pool could be black algae. Neither one of those will just brush up. Black algae looks likesmall black spots and can be treated with copper algaecide. I dot know what to suggest if it's mold under a liner.

    The leak isn't coming from the spider gasket if it coming out from the handle. There is an oring on the handle shaft. You'll need to compress the spring to get it back together.
