Getting rid of tiny bugs - noseeums?

Ok thanks for the reply. I may go with a fan. I was also wondering if mosquitos dunks would help with noseeums. Not sure if I'd want to put them in the pool but the manufacturer says they're safe for pools

Getting rid of tiny bugs - noseeums?

I live in North Carolina and recently put up a 15' Intex temporary pool. We get a lot of small flying gnat like bugs that have a small bite - they seem like sand flies or noseeums. There's also bugs crawling around outside of the pool. Any recommendations for getting rid of them.

    How much was your pool?

Ok thanks all. Thought that may be the case. Can I please be invited to your grand opening pool party? :D Enjoy!

    How much was your pool?

I just put in a "pool" - Intex - 15'x42" temporary one. I figured it would be a good dirt cheap test to see if it holds up (more than a few weeks) and how much we use it. It's been great so far and I definitely think it'll be worth upgrading next year or the year after. I may just go with an...

Intex Pump electricity usage and worth running?

Thanks all. I'll probably run it for two 30 minute cycles each day as it doesn't seem to do much for debris removal. But the pool is so small, it's easy enough just to scoop it out. We've also been swimming in it for about an hour a day and make quite a few whirl pools.

Intex Pump electricity usage and worth running?

Does anyone know how much electricity an Intex 1000 GPH pump filter uses? I have a 15 foot pool and am running it the recommended 4 hours a day. From what I've heard these pump are quite weak and don't help that much. Wondering if I should run it more or less. My inflatable pool is less...

    Pool vacuum for 15' pool?

I just put up a 15' Intex inflatable pool. It was staying clean until yesterday when I had my gutters cleaned and debris fell into it. What should I use to clean the bottom?

Getting rid of small flying bugs

I just put in a small temporary pool and there's a decent amount of small flying bugs by it. I'm in Raleigh, NC so this time of years there's a lot of bugs out and I'm not certain the pool is attracting them. I'm not sure the exact bug, sort of like a gnat/very tiny mosquito, fly/hover in...
