Intex SWG hard plumbing install If you have purchased the Intex SWG and want to install it to a non intex pool that has hard plumbing then here is what i have found works, i found this out the hard way. first of all, i could not find a way to make the flex line work with any adapter though...

What part did you use to replace the Intex fitting that attaches to the SWG? Everything i see out there isnt the same fit. I need to hard plumbing mine into my 1 1/2" sch40 but the threads dont match on that special fitting.

Thanks, i will research this site on what to do to get started on chlorine. I suppose i need to have tablets or a floater and such which was an original turn off.

My wife was concerned about Chlorine and the effects like burning eyes, itch, etc. Any recommendations on how to keep these effects minimized. So basically i should just add chlorine and begin the normal chlorine process and just let the PB levels disappear. BTW, the PB level is low right...
