Questions for owners of Aquabot Pool Rover

If your pool bottom was really dirty it could be that the filter bag already needs to be cleaned out, it will filter out debris up to 2 microns.

AG Robotic Cleaners - Any advice?

Ours is a AGP 15x30, it has a control box that you can set the time it goes in each direction(in seconds). We have ours set at 30 second, when it comes to a wall or steps it will stay there and then go in the opposite direction when the time tells it to go in the other direction. I was sort of...

AG Robotic Cleaners - Any advice?

I would go with the Pool Rover Jr if it were me and save the $100.00 for something else.. Aquabot Models The Rover Jr and the Rover use the same parts for the most part including the motor so you are not gaining any more power at all, the main difference is the Rover has a longer electrical...

    Here are the results

It took me almost 2 weeks to do the conversion. Most people get theirs done in around one week, I have a lot of trees and hence had a bunch of leaves in the bottom that did not help matters at all, the chlorine was being used up pretty fast with both the bac and organic material. I did start...

    Here are the results

Thanks for the complements guys and gals, I worked on it pretty hard to get it changed over but it was well worth it, I think my chemical bills per month now are going to be around 25.00 or so a month as opposed to at least 60 to 70 using Bac.

Proper method to splice bonding wire?

You can also get a piece of pvc pipe and split it length ways and fill the halves with some good silicone and put the halves back together over the splice and tie them together, this works good also.

    burying an AGP?

I agree with you DrC, the King George is a VERY NICE POOL and maybe the best AGP pool on the market today? I hope that ours will give us 10 to 12 or so years or service, I hope more lol. If the KG is still being made at that time when we need a new one I will surely consider it as a replacement.

Mat for under ladder in AGP?

I went to Home Depot looking for the rubber shower pan material and they were sold out of it. Anyway I looked in the flooring dept and found some black vinyl carper runner for 1.60 a foot I think its around 30" wide, I got 3' of it and fit the ladder perfect :-D I saw some at the pool store...

    burying an AGP?

We sunk ours in the ground 2 feet, the dealer(Bonnie And Clyde's) said it would not void the warranty. This is a pict right after we had it installed.
