    Attempted to answer my own question with this handy calculator: Diffusion Time Calculator - PhysiologyWeb Cl- ions apparently diffuse at a rate of only 2 cm a day!? Bromide ions have got to be in the same order of magnitude right? So seems really insignificant. Does that seem right?

    I currently have a very old single speed 2 HP Jandy Stealth Pro Series Pump that I need to replace. I'm thinking about replacing with a 1.5 HP Variance Speed. Would that be OK even though it's lower HP?
