Chem level differences btwn pool manuf & other resources...

Need some help with conflicting information about chemical levels. I have a River Pools (RP) D32 salt system (10,000 gal). I've had the pool for almost one year exactly. No visible water issues (cloudiness, algae, odor, etc.), so that's a plus. I use a Taylor K-6000 Salt test kit and have been...

Going out of town and RAIN in the forecast

Oh, I absolutely plan to continue running the pump while away. I meant that if the equipment was "on" but couldn't pump and cycle water, then it would just be sitting idle in the "on" position. Just didn't want it damaged if too much water is present. I keep picturing something (like a ceiling...

Going out of town and RAIN in the forecast

Correct, no overflow port hooked up from the skimmer. I assumed that the equipment would just sit idle while in the "ON" state. Just wanted to make sure nothing was gonna burn up while I'm away.

Going out of town and RAIN in the forecast

So, I'm heading out of town and RAIN is forecast (chances) for the next 10 days (southeast Louisiana). We have had a bit of a rare drought for the last several weeks but the summer rain is about to kick in (daily rain that just pops up). If my pool fills beyond the skimmer, will the pump/filter...

    TFP app

I think I figured it out. The "log" button didn't allow for results to be added to the home screen. I pressed the "+" button and was able to type in my test results and have them show on the home screen. Thank you for helping!

    TFP app

Thank you. Each time I create a log, I check to save but nothing shows up in the app. Is there a different area to add "test results"? Meaning, are "test results" different than "logs"?

    TFP app

Folks, do I need the Premium version in order to record previous tests on this screen? When I log info, they remain blank. TIA!

    Chems/levels for SWG system

Is there any truth to the notion that CYA levels maintain themselves pretty well once you've got them at the proper level? Or must they be frequently adjusted, as with several other chemicals/levels?

    Chems/levels for SWG system

Many thanks for the link, etc.! This site has so many resources that I know that I haven't happened all of them yet. Thank you for steering me in the right direction!

    Chems/levels for SWG system

Hello TFP gurus, I've read in various places that when using a saltwater system, some chemicals/levels should be different than for traditional chlorine systems (I'm aware that the SWG creates chlorine). For instance, I've read that CYA should be much higher for salt systems as opposed to...

Prowler 920 will not power on...

Hello TFP folks! First time poster, as our pool was just finished about one week ago. We have a Prowler 920 that I have used about 4 or 5 times in the last week. Up until today, it worked fine. Now, today, it will not power on when I plug it in. The power supply box with the power button and...
