It was the excell 1.5 pump replaced with a jandy VSP pump today and it primed in 3 seconds, then had massvily more flow . Contacted pool warehouse will get the pumps exchanged and I guess allow it to take up space in the attic.

Pump lid is sealed all unions are sealed there are no plugs in the scammers we have tried priming of water hose for three minutes and reverse primary with no success feeling well
