I am purchasing a house with what looks like a waterfall into the pool. I can't turn the pump on because the filter has a crack in it but was curious if you can help confirm if this is a waterfall? Would it most likely be the return water line from the filter that would be pumped through these...

The box is attached to the side of a wall and its wires do not connect to any of the pool equipment.. There is also an inline chlorine tab dispenser so I dont think its an SWG.. There is not a gas fireplace to my knowledge. I have attached a few more pictures of the inside of the box. Thanks.

I am in contract on a house and I am trying to figure out what this is... It is located right next to the pool pump power box. Any insight would be appreciated. Please see pictures.
