Goonie, now that you have the TF-100 kit, RELY on that, and that alone. Don't listen to or buy into anything a pool store tells you any more. You can see from your TF-100 that your CYA is WAY too high. You need to drain your pool down and replace with fresh water..it's the only way to lower...

Holy smokes..if your CYA is really that high, You need to start draining pool water and start over. Secondly get rid of that "green to blue" and other "pool store" garbage. You will need straight chlorine bleach, baking soda, borax and some pool stabilizer (CYA) granules, to keep your pool...

I HATE winter covers..with that said..it is a necessary evil for our 33ft agp...because of all the tree's that drop leaves in the fall. I buy the cheapest one I can get, and plan on replacing yearly, or if lucky, every other year. THen when spring comes we pump off as much snow and rain water...

I have a 33ft round agp with one skimmer and one return..and it does just fine. my pool holds almost 26,000 gallons

Ok...well I went ahead and ordered all new laterals..and installing them this weekend...HOPEFULLY that's the issue with the sand. Thanks for all the help! LOL :)

Thanks for the input. I have located the correct laterals...NOW......do I need them or not? I pulled my riser and laterals OUT of my filter today..I was fully expecting to see at least one or more broken. BUT...everything looks fine. why am I seeing so much sand on the bottom of my pool? I...
