I ended up placing the pump in the deep end and used bucket on steps in shallow end to fill water. Worked very well. Sorry for the delay, didn’t see any notification

D Dang. Now the ocd part wants to find this leak haha. I thought the water going down was normal as long as it’s above the lines coming in and out of the pump basket. If it’s not a big deal I’ll forget about it though. Thanks for your help!

The water lowers from top right under lid to little above where the in and out is for the pump basket when turns off. Just assumed that was normal. Strange...

The filter pressure is steady (unless I’m changing from skimmer to skimmer & vacuum or main drain etc). And the basket doesn’t drain out completely when off (it lowers but assuming that’s normal?).

It’s just strange that it never isn’t there on higher rpm. And right now that sample bubble is there and it’s on very low rpm.
