Ok, this is the conclusion - Jandy has confirmed for me that Aqualink Rev Y no longer supports Smart JVA functionality, so at some point between R and Y, they dropped this function. @PoolGate, I appreciate all of the help trying to set this up with me, but unfortunately it will just not work...

This is probably the final question I can ask you specifically, im waiting to hear back from a few pool installers who also dont know what Smart JVA is. In your original post on how to get it all working, you mentioned having to remove a relay connection from the Aux 3 port for it to work...

That 4th 3 pin connector is, from what I understand, for an additional Solar JVA and the one beside it is for a Solar Aux, for something like a Heater. Which one of those (if any) is for your Smart JVA? Im assuming your smart jva module is the same as mine, just to make sure. I just dont know...

I think that's where I am confused, It doesn't seem like I can assign a JVA to the Solar AUX because its a 2 pin connector and not a 3 pin like what is coming from my JVA. So I can't put the JVA (without smart) where I want to with my current set up. Below you can see my set up as it is now...

The JVA does work as is in the system currently, but I have to take it out of the Return JVA port and assign to an Aux port to use Smart JVA functionality.

so if I plug the return JVA into the smart JVA, and assign it to an Aux, would that work? I really am trying to control the Return side here because it is what sends water to pool+spa always on only spa, and im trying to get Spa only, Pool only, and the 50/50 split with the smart jva control...
