    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

When I first bought the house, there was a very low level of salt and I was maintaining with bleach a la tfp. I later added salt, etc. I will say it requires a lot of MA to keep the ph under 7.8, like 40oz every 6 days. I can’t remember if it took that much while on bleach. I don’t know if...

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

Okay I didn't want the thread to turn into this but here we are. I bought the house. The previous owner said they switched to chlorine because the salt eroded everything and it's been fine on chlorine. I researched TFP, etc and concluded that they probably didn't maintain the chemistry...

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

The two different stones are both horizontal. The waterfall is limestone, but made of huge stones with mortar. It’s hard to tell exactly where the problem is. It’s leaking out the back, I presume through cracks in the mortar.

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

The coping is as old as the pool, I'm pretty sure, probably 10ish years.

And this is the stone 10 ft away from the pool.

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

There is wear all around the pool but it's worse where water splashes up more. I live in dripping Springs. Yeah I guess you’re welcome to any rubble.

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

I've tried maintaining with bleach rather than SWG and there is no degradation. When I go back to salt, the difference is painfully obvious. It just starts chipping away. Previous owners came to the same conclusion. We also have incredibly hard well water.

    SWG and Limestone Waterfall

I'm in Central Texas. The SWG has obliterated our limestone coping and the limestone waterfall has a significant leak. I'll replace the coping with something more resistant but I'm not sure what to do about the waterfall. I'm guessing the leak was caused from a break in the mortar. I don't want...

    Aqualogic low volts, chlorinator off

So I continued to have problems, cycling through various error messages and eventually got stuck with no cell power. I looked again at the circuit board and the K1 joint looked faulty. I soldered it back together and it started back up instantly so hopefully it's cured. I had never soldered...

    Aqualogic low volts, chlorinator off

It started working again magically and has made FC for the last 2 days. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it.

    Aqualogic low volts, chlorinator off

Well, no luck. I can't get the low volts to go away. I tried all the troubleshooting I could in the manual, but the chlorinator won't stay on long enough to do some of the tests. At this point should I call in a professional? Just replace the whole board??
