I am pleased to say that our PB fixed the base of the pool and replaced the liner. He stood behind his company name and made things right.

Tear out the liner and bottom, then start over with a new base layer and liner.

I am please to say the PB was not happy with the quality of work on our pool floor either.

Yes, this is a new construction. We have not made the final payment. The PB is supposed to come look at the bottom, but my suspicion is he is going to act like it is normal.

You can see a good bit of the holes during the day, but all the imperfections are magnified under the light.

My husband and I feel like the vermiculite/base layer under the liner should be smoother than it is. What do you think? I have never seen a pool with dips, humps, divot, etc like this before. Am I stuck with this or should the pool company provide better workmanship.
