ok so today it won't fire up at all... at a loss for what it could be, the debugging sheet did not really explain the lack of any display- i tried swapping it to the previously working fenwall and PIB but same outcome. i may replace the display, but I am about out of ideas.

So i replaced the power distribution board ... the PCB did seem to be corroded- you can see the old one on the right. The heater power was still flickering from time to time but it managed to actually fire up this evening and heat things up.

so i noticed that someone had wired in the firemans switch and the 4 wire control. At first I was able to get something working by unwiring 4 wire control, but then the current went flaky again. I'll post a video of it later.

So this is my 4th pool... first one was 1970 tech... upgraded it to chlorine free, when that was a relatively new thing (2009). intalled a coverstar cover over the top. Had a pool built for my next place (2015) using Ozone and UV and a underomount cover. Moved to texas and installed Dual UV...

So today I swapped the transformer- so far i have swapped the fenwall and main board. Power distributor board is next. ... It is indeed quite foggy by the ocean so a lot of corrosion going on. no mice as of yet.
