The deck area around my pool appears to have had a coating material applied to it at some time. It looks like a thin stucco material. In several places this coating is coming off in patches. I would appreciate any advice about how to deal with this. Should I have the entire deck re-covered...

Yes, it is a booster pump. And, yes on close inspection, it is marked Letro. I just didn't look close enough before I posted. I got an impeller this morning and just got it installed. Again, thanks for the help.

Thanks for the responses. Yes, this info came from the motor. I have not been able to find anything on the pump itself. I will try to look closer.

I have a broken impeller on the pump which powers my pool cleaner. It is a Magnatek Century Centurion, Pool and Spa Duty. 3/4 HP, 240v Cat. B668. Any idea where I can find a replacement. Through Google I can find plenty of motors and parts, but no pump parts. Thanks in advance

Thanks, I will backwash and add DE. While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and remove the pump impellor and make sure it is clear.

Thanks for the reply Jason. The pressure gauge on my tank has markings that show it should start about 10 psi and should be backwashed when it gets to 20. Is that information just wrong or out-dated.

I have a DE filter and when I cleaned the filter and added new DE, the pressure started out at about 10 psi. After a few months, the pressure slowly climbed up to about 15. I understand this is normal and I was watching to see when it got to level it needed to be backwashed. But when the leaves...

The place where I damaged the cables was up in the box prior to where they go underground. I was able to solder to the ends and wrap them with electrical tape.

I never could get the wires to move. However, it turned out that it was broken bulbs, and I only had to replace them (and fix the wiring I tore up trying to pull the cables out) and all is well. Is there any way you can get a grip with vice-grip pliers. It would be a cinch to cut a new screw...

Durk, Thank you very much for your response. You are absolutely correct. I should have worked out the circuits before proceeding. The motor is probably at fault, as it will run, but not at the proper speed (time not correct). I will check into possibly just replacing the motor. I love this...
