No, sorry for not being clear. When I started the slam the FC dropped 10 ppm over a 24 hr period. The next 24 hr period it only dropped 6. Work has been crazy, thanks Harvey.... so haven't been able or made the time to watch it close. I am going to continue to slam and do the overnight test...

FC dropped 10 ppm after the first 24 hours. Since last test dropped 6 ppm.

I'm not sure that i trust the pressure gage but it has not moved since the last cleaning. I'm not sure that I trust the pressure gage and plan to purchase something with a much narrower range. I might try to flush some from the top of the filter to see if i get a different reading afterwards...

Ok, after day 3 of slam : FC - 17.5 CC - >0.3 ppm ph - 8.0 TA - 85 CH - 210 CYA - 45 Since CC is still not showing zero I am assuming I should continue. Should I clean the filters again? I cleaned them before Harvey.

test results today: FC - 8.4 PH - 7.6 TA - 150 CH - 130 CYA - 55! Added 10 lbs of calcium, and acid to get the TA down. Will check chemistry again tomorrow or Friday but looking good.

Should i worry about the Calcium? Pebble tech. Ive seen some posts that indicate that it is not that big of a concern. I also don't 100% trust the test results since we have had so much rain. I have been running the pool at least 12 hours a day since the rain started.

Hate to make light of the storm but it certainly is a $$ saver when i need to refill my pool to get the CYA levels under control. Love the site and the information that I have been able to find. Our pool is less than a year old and yet I have already run into the CYA issue with chlorine pucks...
