Quick update. I finally measured the voltage going to the motor only 120V is getting to it. Upon further inspection, I believe I have faulty wiring going on one of the lines. I've called my contractor to take it from there. I'll provide an update once all is up and running again.. Spishex...

Called a pool service company today and described my problem to them. They suggested testing the voltage going to the motor. If it was 230, then they suggested replacing the motor. Sound reasonable? I'll call a couple other places just to get a consensus. Also, looking at motors, would item...

I didn't find any clogs in the suction line using the "drain king". While I was reassembling the impeller, I noticed one of the wires connecting from the "start" capacitor was loose. I was able to solder it back on. I did not notice this when I removed the "start" capacitor couple weeks ago...
