    Oh boy. You are probably right. Here is a link to the "pro..." Jandy | AquaLink Wireless Remote. I figured it was just the latest version of the PDA. Not sure why they would change out the antenna? Ok, on the lookout now for one. Thank you.

    Bumping this back up - I picked up a used J Box to see if that is the issue. Still curious. I have switched to a hard-wired iAqualink setup, hopefully that makes it more robust.

    Okay - going to give it a try. I found a 12 watt, it is all facing in one direction - I had a 150 watt in there before and it was plenty bright enough, this will be dimmer, but there are 2 lights in the pool and tired of burning so much energy.
