What is the Ohm resistance supposed to be on a new salt water cell between the common and outer ports? A Jandy AquaPure R0452400 PLC1400 3-Port Cell was burning center port and melting connector. Disconnected and dry, the resistance from center to outer is about 7kOhms (10kOhms between outers)...

I tried soldering iron tests but could not get the solder to stick to the probe or the plate.
