While looking at the Perma-Cast catalog, I see that they sell ladder anodes. Does anyone have any experience with these? Do they work? It would be a way cheaper way to go than the marine-grade ladder.

So I guess that means I have to stick with the SR Smith marine grade ladder. Thanks for all the feedback!

I am following along on your thread since I am doing very much the same pool build. Just ordered my Intellicenter today and will order my pool package as soon as I work out my final issue with the SWG / auto cover ladder problem! Good luck!

I was looking at the Johnny Hinge from Perma-cast. From what I can tell, they work with regular pool ladders. Any one have experience with them?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the regular Saftron ladder (P-324-L3) with ladder hinges? Or do I have to stick with the SR Smith marine grade ladder (VLLS-103E-MG). I can't find a whole lot of info on the ladder hinges.

I figured as much. The reason I was looking was because Royal does not have the marine grade ladder for my SWG pool that is recommended. I’ll have to either go with the usual ladder from them or get the marine grade from someone else.

R Right now we will not have a heater, but plan for one in the future if we find we need one. The actuators would be a separate purchase as they didn't come with the package I selected.

I guess that I am not educated enough on the actuators vs. regular valves to know what I need to know! From what I gather, you still need valves with actuators?

Finalizing another thing in our system before I put in the order and since I have not had any other valve type on a pool system, I need advice! Using the Intellicenter for our automation on our SWG system that is pool only, with no other water features and no heater (that may be in the future)...
