I got a bit of an oddball sized pool, 20' round, and had some significant ice damage to the liner this year. 20' liners are pretty hard to find now, anyone think a 21' liner would work?

Where I live it's 6' and I can tell you that the inspector never get it a thought, in some locations inspectors only worry about the serious things and not the trivial, others are sticklers for details. Ask your local planning dept, they'll let you know.

I've seen lots of posts here that say 2" is the max, if you want to see them start searching, it's a pretty standard opinion here. 1" is the manufacturers recommeded limit with lots of people saying anything past 2" as getting risky.

So what was the result of the measuring and getting rails on, just so those of us that tried to help know the end result.

You spend 30 minutes a day looking after your pool.....it's way easier than that, I have a friend that spends about 15 minutes a week on his pool :wink: I'm with you, I spend about the same amount of time as you and it's not that bad, still, some people would just rather spend that time...

If your content to ride out this summer then it's not a bad idea to use the down time in the winter to properly plan everything out, that way you can hit the ground running in early spring.

I leveled my site (8" down on one side) and isntalled pool all by myself, took about 7-10 days, that is from undisturbed site to swim ready.
