Have you found out the CYA with your test kit yet? You really need that information before you start your SLAM. If you are going to have to drain and refill your pool, you should do it before wasting any chemicals in water you will eventually drain.

Just follow the advice you have been given here. You won't need any type of clarifier to clear up your pool.

Hi Maria. Your pool deck looks very similar to mine. Except my deck doesn't look nearly as clean as yours. What or how to you keep it so clean? That pool does look refreshing!

If I disconnect the gas line would I be able to just pick up the heater and move it or is the heater somehow anchored to the pad? What are you thoughts on putting a bypass for both the heater and filter while treating the pool. It looks like I have room for that when I cut out the Nature 2 system.
