have a question on in line chlorinators that hold the 3'' tabs, how do these chlorinators work. say, when the pump is shut off, you would think the tabs would dissolve, then when you turn the pump back on your chlorine level would be super high, how do these chlorinators work without the tabs...

Those look like they should be there to hold the fields inside the motor. I just bumped my de filter and noticed those on my primary and spare pump. Hope this helps.
