Thank you… it is actually rather cool here today and has not been too warm in general. The pump is about 7 years old. Was working great until last week… no noise or lack of power. Fingers crossed it still works tomorrow when I put it on for the day. We generally run the pump 8 hours a day...

So we just went outside and turned it on again… and it is now working perfectly… 🤔 Does a capacitor need to charge somewhat like a car battery?
