    Pinhole leaks

Awesome, thanks! I got some vinyl adhesive glue and used the extra vinyl material they provide to patch it. I ended up cutting them into a circle so that there was no edges to lift. I think this will be the last season anyway with this pool but wanted to check in on it :) Thanks!

    Pinhole leaks

I stored my pool for the winter last year and have just got it out and filled up about halfway (3,000 of 6,000 gallons). I have found 3 pinhole leaks as I have been walking around the pool every few hours as the water level increases. I have since patched these and the water has stopped...

Manual Vacumn For Pool - Improve suction?

Thanks, I figured that's what it was for. I guess I am just overthinking it. If you had two straws in your mouth going into one drink, the your suction of the liquid would never change. My lung capacity wouldn't increase with the more straws I add, much like the pump only being able to suck a...

Manual Vacumn For Pool - Improve suction?

I briefly did that but putting one of the rubber stoppers in one of the inlets a few days ago but then since there was no water in the pipe, it sucked in air and started choking. I turned it off right way for precaution but from what you are saying, this would have probably re-primed itself and...

Manual Vacumn For Pool - Improve suction?

Thinking about this more, how would blocking a port help.. ? The same amount of water is going into the pump regardless of one or two or ten lines I would think. It sounded right when I first though about it but don't know that blocking one would help my situation? Seems like it would be a...

Manual Vacumn For Pool - Improve suction?

Hello, I have an above ground 18ft Coleman pool that I installed about 2 weeks ago. I have done some hard plumbing on it on the inlets and outlet but still utilize the hoses for the time being until I can find a good solution to connect directly to the pump. I am using an Intex 3,000GPH...

Looking for a part for my intex hoses

I am working on hard plumbing my above ground colemen pool with my intex sand filter. I have some of the work done and now I am looking for a part. I have these hoses that go from the pump and normally attached to the pool. Since I ran 1 1/2 PVC, I need to connect this hose some how to the...

Coleman Pool W/ Intex Sand Filter (Conversion Questions)

These are the hoses I was referring to - they are two narrow ones that connect to a "T" and then from there is the standard screw-on hoses. I just don't know if I need to upgrade those two clear ones or what I would even put in their place since they dont screw on to anything, they are just...

Coleman Pool W/ Intex Sand Filter (Conversion Questions)

Yeah they are like 2 clear hoses that push onto the "T" and then push onto the nubs on the pool and fastened with a plastic compression fitting. I am about to install my pump today and still remain a little nervous about using those clear tubes on this pump. I was in a pool store today and saw...

Aftermarket Pump on Coleman Pool? No water control valve on inlet

Hello All, I have an 18ft coleman above ground pool. It has 1 outlet and 2 inlets that go to its crappy pump. I will be installing my own today but noticed something odd when reading over the instructions. The outlet has a water shutoff to close the water flow from the pool to the pump...
