    Hayward ColorLogic 4.0 Light?

    Installed Hayward colorlogic in my new pool in 2012. Failed in 2015. Failed again in 2017. 2017 failure was water incursion. Hayward variable speed failed in 2017, bearings. Pump controller failed shortly after. Have written off all Hayward products.

    Repairing a Hayward Ecostar Variable speed pump SP3400VSP

    My sp3400vsp is starting to make bearing noises. I am planning on replacing the motor then rebuilding the old one as a spare. Are any special tools required for moving the motor or replacing the seals? Pump is 4 years old, runs 9 hours per day.
